David Arnaud is a professional kayaker and film-maker. David first made himself a name as a competitor, reaching 5th place at the 2001 Freestyle Worlds. Since then, he accumulated numerous podiums and victories in festivals and extrem races, but over the years he also refocused on what he considers the essence of paddling, and which could be sumed up in one word: freeride.

His passion lead him to exotic places all around the world, a chance that he's always been willing to share via magazines, internet (www.thinkliquid.net), and above all his videos.

In fact, David travels camera in hand, eager to show others what he is offered to see and live. He has been working in the video field for several years now and his footage has been widely featured on French and European TV channels, bringing paddlesports to the eyes of millions. He is also a major contributor to Salomon's successful series of DVDs "Adrenaline Hunters", of which hundreds of thousands copies were distributed worldwide. He also worked as a consultant for the Playstation 2 video game "Wild Water Adrenaline", in cooperation with Nobilis studios.

This movie won the most prestigious paddling film festivals in the world, including the USA's National Paddling Film Festival as well as the European Paddling Film Festival held in Germany. In-Flux was also shown in various mainstream sports & outdoors film festivals around the world.

Through his latest instructional DVD "Methode Kayak Freestyle", David shares tips and tricks acquired during his 17 years of practice at the highest level. Thanks to clear step by step instructions, these techniques and moves are no longer reserved to an elite!
